Some Recommendations:
@Lizguy74. He's a very good fan of mine. He gives nice messages about my art which I like. His art is... roughly the same quality as my art which makes me happy (always nice to have a friend with the same talents as you), but he has WAY more art than me which makes me sad about my output rate plus he makes audio and has more movies than me (I have more games than him though and his games are all collabs but given the quality of my games, that might not be such a positive.)
@mawibblap. His art is pretty good though a little small at times with small resolution. He talks to me sometimes. I showed him funny or interesting videos alot on Newgrounds Chat. He doesn't go there anymore :(.
@BlizzyDoris. I've got to shout out a fellow Scratcher. At least, he was a scratcher when I met him. He makes good stuff. You should check him out.
@Skoops. Skoops isn't a fan or a follow of mine but I'm still going to feature them here. The only 2 times I've interacted with Skoops was in the NG Forums, both times in the art section. The first time I asked why commissions were so expensive and he said "Sorry you're too unskilled to do anything yourself and too poor to get someone else to do it for you." The second time I asked if someone could redraw my art and he said "Why would I want to put more effort into your art than you do?". Now, both times he made me feel very bad for asking those questions and I thought he was a little rude for it, but looking back I suppose I should have:
- researched why art commissions were expensive instead of making a post for it and
- Put my art redraw message in the dedicated Art Redraw Post, Made a News Post for it or simply not have said anything about the redraw in the first place.
I think he probably thinks badly of me now. I don't want people to think of me as a horrible person (I'm not a horrible person, at least I wouldn't consider myself one).
As an apology to Skoops for making awful threads in the forums, I would like to compliment things about his channel that I like. First off, His Art Is Of ASTOUNDING Quality. It's better than pretty much everyone else I've featured here (Certainly better than my art). Plus he has made Multiple (3) High Quality Games together with other people which easily trumps my 13 mediocre-at-best ones. He already has a lot of fans but I strongly suggest anyone who hasn't seen his stuff to, well, see his stuff. I'm sorry for being an idiot, Skoops.
@GummySandworm He participated in The Balloonshroom 1 Year Anniversary Collab. He makes... things. He's been around for a long time. I wonder how much he remembers about Newgrounds back then, and if he can tell me about it.
Hey, here's a Funny Video you should check out. Look at the little piggies having fun. Wouldn't you like to join them?
Hey, look at this obscure channel I found.
Check out the Pokemon Battle Revolution Soundtrack. It has some good music in it.
Some Comments:
July 1st: Looks like we have officially entered the halfway point of the year. I swear it was January 1st two months ago. Time keeps on passing me by. 2023 came and went without any important developments for me. I'm getting older. I don't want to get older. I wish I had more time to do the things I want to do.
July 3rd: Looks like the Scratch Devs are performing maintenance on the site right now . I won't be able to do my art right now. [Sigh] This happens every time (says Balloonshroom during the only time this has ever happened).
Update: It's finished (the maintenance).
Fourth Of July: Couldn't be bothered to do the art today. Mostly because, say it with me, I didn't have the motivation. But also because I was watching real fireworks for Freedom Land's Anti-Arrogation Anniversary. Ahh good old America (even though it's fairly young). A lot of people hate you but... I kind of hate you as well. Godspeed, you crazy country.
July 6th: Empty Soda Cans.
This is a reference to something I just thought of. like within the past 2 hours. You weren't there so you wouldn't get it. This is a literal inside joke, as in a joke I made up inside my brain. [Insert semi-non sequitur here].
I often make up weird and wacky scenarios, fantasies and alternate realities in my mind (as you would know if you read Imagination Inundation). One particular group of things I imagine of are fake video games that don't exist. I sometimes make entire franchises from a single idea. Hey, remember that other Spongebob game released in 2004 (no, not the Movie Game) where the Developers HEAVILY implied that Spongebob as well as countless residents of Bikini Bottom were eaten and killed by a Whelk invasion, Patrick goes mentally insane looking for him and he mistakes Spongebob's corpse for his best friend being alive? Of course you don't. Nickelodeon made sure to bury any evidence of this game's existence.
I love my imagination sometimes.
July 8th: So I was looking back on my Mother's Day Art and for the 5th Mother, I named one of her daughters 'Emily' and another one 'Alyssa'. It's worth noting that this family is supposed to be Japanese. So I was looking at this art and their names and then I thought something.
Could an actual Japanese person say the daughters names correctly? I thought this because I realized that I don't think I've ever heard a native Japanese person say the 'L' sound correctly. Every time I translated an English word with an L to Japanese it's always translated as an 'R' sound. Seriously, try it. Type my name (Balloonshroom) in the left box and see what happens. With all of this in mind, could a native Japanese person say their names correctly? Are they even physically capable of pronouncing the sound the 12th letter of the English alphabet makes?
After I thought this, I started wondering how many other officially recognized languages can pronounce all of the sound of the English language. I'm NOT going to check to see which languages can do it because that would take way too much time. Besides I don't really need to know that badly.
Weekly Advice:
Week 1: It's the middle of summer so if you are feel like you're hot, try your luck by talking to a woman. If she's into you, that means you were correct. If she's not then that probably means I misunderstood what you meant by "hot".
Week 2: Man this summer heat seems unbeatable but one way you could beat it is by literally beating yourself up VERY badly. If you don't want to hurt yourself, have a loved one do it for you. Then simply call a hospital and when you get there, the nurse will probably give you multiple ice packs to heal your bruises and, more importantly, cool you down. Granted, this probably won't work so it's advised not to do this unless you're sure my scenario will happen.
In the meantime, just turn on an air conditioner or a fan. If your cool enough, turn it off occasionally to save power or put your air conditioner on energy saver mode.
Question of the month: If you could transform into anything you wanted, be it an animal, an object, or a different type of human, what would it be? You can change back and forth between you and the thing of your choice at any time.
